Terms of Work
- A ‘Project’ is any work or service undertaken by Rapid WebTech for the end user on their request and as described in our confirmation order email to that Client.
- We or Us, means Rapid WebTech.
- You or Client is a person, persons, business or organisation who is in contact with our company for any of the services provided by Rapid WebTech.
- Design Phase is a stage, where we will show you static design of the website’s Home page, which we will provide you to elaborate the layout & color combination.
- Development Phase is the second stage, where we will implement your approved design & make it functional to achieve the end product.
- Live Mode means website is uploaded on the client’s chosen domain for user to check worldwide.
- Business Day means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday.
- Domain is the website address booked by the client OR booked for client to make website live.
- Hosting Service means the space on the server of ISP used to upload your website files.
- Content in the material or information including images provided by client to place in the different website pages.
General Terms
- The contract between You (Client) and Rapid WebTech for design, develop, repair or maintain a website will cost you according to price agreed in our correspondence.
- You are authorised to start a contracts on behalf of yourself or your company. The name We will use the same as communicated to me at the time of starting contract.
- We expect you to do sufficient research before proceeding with website. Be sure the business/ website will operate legally. Also ensure that provided images & text is legal & available for you to use in website. Rapid WebTech is not responsible for the illegal use of content provided by client. We reserve the right to remove such websites from our server.
- You need to provide me all the info, We need to complete the project. The asked information, you need to provide me on timely manner when requested & in the same requested format.
- The deadlines for the project completion depends on both (Rapid WebTech & Client). You need to provide me all the requested info in asked format & on time. Also any addition to the agreed work will extend the deadline. You can have to review the work & have to provide me specific feedback, to complete the work on agreed time.
- After sign off the design phase or in development phase, if client need any changes in layout, color, font etc. , that will cost additional.
- Website access detail will be provided to client only after making website live. Until the website is on our development sever, client need to provide all the required changes to us.
- All the website created by us are responsive. You can use any device to check the website. But We prefer to check the website during development phase only on desktop. We make it compatible to other devices, when it get complete for desktop.
- We will keep all the design & code of the website until final payment. After final payment we will provide all the relevant data to client(on request).
Pricing & Payment for project
- We charge for the design & development of the website in steps You need to deposit 40% of the total amount as upfront(Before starting the work). When you will approve the design of the home page & will sign off the design phase, you need to deposit next 40% of the total amount. The Final payment of 20% is payable, when website get complete in development phase & you are happy with the final outcome. After you final payment, we will make your website live.
- The upfront amount of 40% is nonrefundable, if client want to terminate the project, under any conditions.
- You need to pay 100% of the total amount, if you need any repair, maintenance, additional work in existing website. The same will be applicable for returning clients.
- You need to pay reactivation fee of £100 as upfront, if you want to reactivate your inactive project after 90 days of inactivity.
Communication
- We will remain available for the communication regarding the project from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Saturday, Sunday & Public holidays, We will remain unavailable for official conversation.
- In Special cases, we can schedule the virtual meeting with client in offline hours & on holidays.
- Our Primary method for the communication is through emails. You have to discuss & provide all the information, feedback over email, which help us to keep track of all the requirement & this also reduce the probability of data loss.
- In case, if it hard to explain your requirement in email, We are also available over Skype to discuss your requirement during working hours on business days. My Skype id is : kuldeep.it03
- If there is any change in email address, contact no, address or point of contact(dealing person), It is your responsibility to share the updated details with us through email.
- While working with us for the design & development of the website, We also suggest you to keep an eye on spam & junk folders along with inbox.
- We suggest you to remain in contact over email with Rapid WebTech through out the entire project life cycle. Under any conditions, if you want us to keep your project on hold, You need to intimate us for the same over email.
- If client remain inactive for more than 15 days continuously, We will make 5 attempts to contact the client on the same email, they provided to us during initial phase of the project.
- Due to the inactivity of the client for more than 90 days, client have to pay reactivation fee of £100 to continue on the existing project.
- The inactivity of client more than 180 days without any information, will result in termination of the project with deletion of all the existing work & any deposit made will not be refunded. If client need to continue over the project, We will provide new quotation for the required work.
Designing & Development
- Design phase get started after you project submission to Rapid WebTech with required upfront payment. We offer infinite revisions in the design phase while working on your design concept until you are totally happy with the proposed design.
- After sign off the design phase, any requested changes in website design (color, font, layout) are not allowed in the initial cost. We will provide quote for the asked changes according to the work needed.
- Design or layout changes of the internal pages are restricted due to the platform used to develop the website. We mostly use WordPress for brochure websites & Opencart or Magento platform for eCommerce websites depending upon the requirement of the end user.
- Development phase is always little time consuming than design phase. It takes minimum 7-10 working days to show the first development draft. Furthermore sometimes we cannot send updates on regular basis. Providing updates in development phase depend on requested work and required alterations.
- We intend to show 95% of the work in development phase over our development server. The rest of the configurations, will be made on the live server. The reason is we cannot configure the website on development server, some of the required changes are linked with live domain (server).
Website Domain, Hosting & SEO
- One of the mandatory requirement to make website live is: Domain Name. Either You need to book the required domain(if not booked already) from your end or need to ask Rapid WebTech to book that for your website. We are limited to book .in or .com (if not special) for you. Any other domain name or special domains can be booked for additional cost.
- Same like Domain name, you also need to get Hosting space to make website live. This is server space either you need to buy(if don’t have existing hosting provider) or can ask us to provide hosting for your website. If you take hosting offer from us, we will also provide 1 email ID elated to your domain with free SSL certificate for 1 year for your website.
- If you have Domain & Hosting or any of these two with us free for 1st year, You need to renew the respective service for next year, as these both services need renewal every year. The renewal of these services need you to pay renewal charges to Rapid WeTech.
- The Domain name & Hosting Renewal is the responsibility of the client. We will contact the client before 15 days of Domain & Hosting Expiry. We offer grace period of 5 days after domain & Hosting expiry. You can contact us with is 5 days with administration fee of £50.
- Rapid WebTeh do not take responsibility of the management of the domain name & hosting services, if client is using third party services for the website address & storing the website files.
- We reserve the right to delete all the website files & data from our server if client do not wish to renew the hosting even after 1 month of expiry of hosting.
- We are responsible for the onpage SEO of your website during development phase. We create website in such a way, so that it easily get index over most of the search engines. If you need ongoing SEO services for your website, that will be additional.
- We ensure the browser & device compatibility of the website. The browser compatibility & responsiveness of the website help search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing etc to index the website.
Data Protection, Security & Support
- It is your responsibility to keep password & other user sensitive data secure. Please do not share the sensitive info with any one & always keep the password strong. Also you have to keep changing the password time to time.
- Rapid WebTech do not take responsibility of the security of the website files & data, if hosted on 3rd party server. The website security not depends only on good coding practice, but also depends on good hosting, security software & regularly updated website files.
- During development phase, We use 3rd party security plugins to keep website safe. As we will handover the website to you after making it live, you need to keep an eye on all the notifications. Following to the notifications, It is your responsibility to keep the used platform & software upto date.
- Rapid WebTech ensure the smooth functioning of the website, if hosted with us. But if you face any issue, you can contact us in working hours 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Friday over email. The working days excludes the public holidays. We provide free support for the issue, which are not due to customer’s work.
- We never tolerate any type of harassment and abusive language against our employees from any client under any conditions. In such cases, Rapid WebTech reserve the right to cancel / terminate the contract with immediate effect without any refund due to inappropriate conduct.
- If any client have any complaint or have a dispute, you can email at support@rapidwebtech.com. We will act swiftly to resolve the issue. You should expect to receive a response to your query within three working days after receiving your correspondence.
- Rapid WebTech aim to give good service and value for money, however we are aware that issues may arise time to time and need to be escalated. We ensure to provide you quality product with quick turn around.
